Lachlan has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise & Sport Science and has completed Level 1 Australian Strength & Conditioning Accreditation. Having spent time with a variety of sports teams, his specialties lie in the development of field, court and team sport athletes of all levels with particular interest in the development of speed and agility in the team sport athlete, and in youth athletic development.

His time in the strength & conditioning field has seen him gain experience with physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and strength & conditioning coaches in a variety of contexts.

Most notably, he has completed internships at Newington College, Rugby Australia (Women’s 7s), Parramatta Eels (Jersey Flegg) and Cricket NSW (Junior Pathways, First Grade Men & Women’s Squad). Out of this he has gained employment at Newington College and Parramatta Eels (Tarsha Gale cup 2019-2020 season).

As a coach at Ethos Performance, Lachy works predominantly with our amateur to elite team sport athletes both on-field and in the gym. He also assists with implementing programs for many other athletes and general populations.

Outside of coaching, you’ll find Lachy playing guitar, eating empanadas, lifting, sprinting and spending time with family and friends.

There’s little more I love than seeing athletes relentlessly pursue who they could be. My passion is putting athletes in a space where they’re perfectly poised to realise their potential.
